Discreet, No-Barrier Access to Essentials
The PfCA's Food & Necessity Pantry is a core component of our commitment to community resilience and the well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ people in rural Colorado. We understand that accessing basic needs should never be a barrier to living authentically. Our Pantry is designed to be confidential, free, and available without paperwork, questions, or judgment.
What We Offer
The Pantry ensures you have access to items that support your health and dignity: Non-perishable groceries, easy-to-prepare meals, snacks, and seasonal items. HBA (Health & Beauty Aids): Soap, shampoo, deodorant, shaving supplies, and general hygiene products. Period Hygiene: Tampons, pads, menstrual cups, and other essential period products. Safer Sex Supplies: Condoms, lube, and dental dams.
Backpacks
Our Food Pantry began with simple backpacks, which we still provide. Youth pack their own backpacks and include enough food for the weekend. We also have youth backpacks that are used to make their own lunches for the week.
Backpacks can include:
Cereal, Oatmeal, Granola Bars, Lara Bars,
Easy to prepare meals that don’t require can openers, mac and cheese, soups, etc.
Bread, peanut butter, jelly, pasta and sauces, ramen
Oatmilk, milk, or juice
Fresh or canned fruit
Fresh or canned vegetables

How to Access the Pantry
The Pantry is located within the OUTPost Community Center and is available during all standard operating hours and by appointment.

Standard Access Hours
Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Confidential Access
If you require access outside of standard hours or prefer more privacy, please contact us to schedule an appointment.
Policy
No I.D. or eligibility requirements are necessary. Take what you need, when you need it.
Support the Pantry
Our Pantry is stocked entirely by community generosity. You can directly support the essential needs of your neighbors.
Donate Items: We accept unexpired, non-perishable food items and new, unopened hygiene products.
Donate Funds: Financial contributions allow us to purchase specific high-demand or specialized products (like gender-affirming hygiene items).
