Welcome to the OUTPost, the physical heart of the PfCA! The OUTPost is more than just an office—it's your dedicated, safe, and affirming 2SLGBTQIA+ community center in rural Colorado. We designed this space to be a true community living room where you can relax, connect with peers, find essential resources, and always feel affirmed, accepted, and heard.

The OUTPost is located at 203 E Street, Garden Level (down the stairs to the right of the front door) in Downtown Salida, Colorado. The space is open Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

What You Can Access Here

The OUTPost provides immediate, direct access to the essential services listed below.

  • Resource & Support Navigation: Need help finding local services, filling out paperwork, or accessing referrals? Our staff and volunteers can provide confidential, one-on-one support.

  • Peer Support Groups: Join one of our regularly scheduled peer support gatherings for affirming conversation and connection.

  • Social Connection & Drop-In: Stop by to use our free Wi-Fi, have a cup of coffee, read a book, or just be in a supportive space.

  • The Food & Necessity Pantry: Access essential food, hygiene, and Health & Beauty Aids (HBA) discreetly.

  • The Rainbow Closet: Utilize our free, gender-affirming clothing and accessories resource.

  • Community Lending Library: Browse and borrow books, media, and educational materials focused on 2SLGBTQIA+ history, identity, and wellness.
