The Rainbow Closet is a free, confidential, and affirming resource dedicated to providing gender-affirming clothing, accessories, and supplies to 2SLGBTQIA+ people in need. We know that being able to dress authentically is vital to identity, agency, and mental wellness. Our goal is to remove financial barriers and provide a supportive experience without judgment.

What We Offer

The Closet is regularly stocked with a variety of items, always free of charge:

Items Provided (Subject to Inventory)

Clothing
all styles, sizes, and gender expressions, including casual wear, professional attire, and formal wear.

Outerwear
Coats, jackets, gloves, hats, and cold-weather gear.

Accessories
Shoes, belts, ties, scarves, bags, and jewelry.

Affirming Gear
Chest binders, compression tops, gaffs, and specialized undergarments.

Wigs & Makeup
Wigs, styling products, and basic cosmetics.

How to Access the Rainbow Closet

The Rainbow Closet is located within the OUTPost Community Center. You can browse and select items during our standard drop-in hours or schedule a private visit.

Location
Inside the OUTPost Community Center

Standard Access Hours
Tuesdays through Fridays, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Private Appointments
We highly recommend scheduling an appointment if you require privacy or want dedicated time with a volunteer to find items.

Cost & Policy
All items are completely free. There is no limit on the number of times you can visit or the number of items you can take.

Support the Rainbow Closet

Help us keep this vital resource stocked! We rely entirely on community donations to ensure we have a full range of sizes, styles, and specialized affirming gear.

Donate Items
We accept clean, gently used, or new clothing. Special priority is given to new or gently used binders and affirming garments.

Donate Funds
Financial contributions allow us to purchase new high-demand or specialized items when donations fall short.
