We meet every Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM at the PfCA Outpost in Salida. Just go to 203 E Street and look for the rainbow painting by the basement stairs – that's our spot.

About YAS! Club

Are you a young 2SLGBTQIA+ person in rural Colorado looking for a cool place where you can feel like you belong? A place where you can just be yourself and connect with others who understand? That's what YAS! Club is all about.

Growing up 2SLGBTQIA+ in a small town can sometimes feel a bit lonely. YAS! Club is designed to be a safe and fun place where you can:

* Connect: Meet other 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and allies.

* Explore: Learn more about yourself in a place where no one judges you.

* Grow: Feel more confident and strong about who you are.

* Have Fun: Hang out, chat, play games, and do cool activities.

* Meet Mentors: Talk to older 2SLGBTQIA+ adults who can share experiences and listen.

Where to Find YAS! Club:

PfCA wants to make sure everyone can get to YAS! Club. We run programs in a few different places:

  • The PfCA Outpost (Salida, CO): This is our main spot! We have weekly YAS! Club meetings and events here at 203 E Street, Garden Level (the basement) in Salida. It's a place where you'll feel like you belong, plus you can get lunch or grab a drink, find help from our Community Care Hub (like the Rainbow Closet or Food Pantry), or check out a basketball and go play with friends in Alpine Park.

  • Your School: We team up with local schools in Chaffee County and nearby areas to bring YAS! Club activities right to your school. This helps us reach even more awesome youth like you!

  • Boys & Girls Club: We also partner with local Boys & Girls Clubs, so you can find affirming spaces within places you might already know and visit.

Because we're in all these places, YAS! Club works hard to fight loneliness, build strong support groups, and help 2SLGBTQIA+ youth totally thrive in rural Colorado.
