The Sister City Lab is working to create an innovative community ‘hub’ model or toolbox that can be easily funded, trained, and delivered to communities, focusing on reestablishing communal power to build better futures.
Our Sister City site is located in southwestern Uganda in the Kanungu District, Kihihi is only miles away from Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park. This location was chosen for its uncanny similarities to Chaffee County (geographic location, natural resources, tourism, etc.) and its vast differences.
