Welcome to your Community Lending Library! We believe in the power of sharing resources to build a stronger, more connected, and more sustainable community here in Salida. Our Lending Library provides access to useful, fun, and sometimes bulky items that you might only need occasionally, saving you money, storage space, and reducing waste!

How It Works:

Items in our Lending Library are available for community members to check out on a daily or weekly basis. Stop by the center during open hours to see what's available, learn about the simple check-out process, and borrow items for your next project, party, or adventure!

More Than Just Borrowing!

Remember, our center is a hub of resources. While the items above can be checked out, we also have a wide range of tools, books, art supplies, and art-making materials available for use within our space. As a community member, you have access to these resources whenever you're using the center.

Is there something you wish you could borrow? Have an idea for an item that would be a fantastic addition to our Community Lending Library? We'd love to hear your suggestions! We are always looking for ways to make this resource even better for Salida.

Some Items Available for Check-Out

  • Inflatable Lounge Chairs: Perfect for ultimate relaxation! Take them to the park for reading or drawing, use them on your next camping trip, or simply chill out in your own backyard.

  • 10-Gallon Water Coolers (3 available): Keep everyone hydrated at your next gathering, sporting event, volunteer day, or family picnic.

  • Giant Inflatable Rainbow: Add a splash of color and joy to special events, weddings, parties, birthdays, or community celebrations! (Famously used during Ark Valley Pride, but available for borrowing much of the rest of the year).

  • Giant Inflatable Outdoor Movie Screen (20ft): Host unforgettable backyard movie nights! This massive screen comes complete with an air blower and carry bag, and works for both front and rear projection. Movie party magic!

  • Mini Reading Tents for Kids (6 available): Create cozy, imaginative spaces for children. These large dome tents (60" x 60" x 47.3") are great for indoor playrooms or outdoor adventures.

  • Giant Connect 4 Game: Supersize the fun! This jumbo version of the classic strategy game is a hit at parties, BBQs, and events for all ages. Comes with a mesh net and carry bag.

  • Cornhole Game Set: The essential lawn game for any gathering! Our set includes boards, bean bags, and a convenient carrying bag.

  • Jumbo Wood Jenga Game: Test your nerves and steady hand with this giant wooden block-stacking tower. Perfect for outdoor fun.

  • Small Utility Wagon: Need a hand moving things? This sturdy wagon can haul up to 300 lbs, making it helpful for moving boxes, gardening supplies, or event materials.

  • Karaoke Machine: Unleash your inner superstar! Liven up any party or get-together with our easy-to-use karaoke machine.
