Partnership for Community Actions’ Bookmarks for Burritos program, in conjunction with Rob Gartzman of MO Burrito, and Susan Matthews, Library Director, aims to get kids to think further about art and literature, and how the two are combined in so many aspects of their lives.
Bookmarks for Burritos participants will be asked to design a bookmark based on their favorite story or book, using an entry form available at the Library. Returned forms will be chosen at random to be printed as bookmarks to be distributed at the Salida Regional Library, as well as Salida school libraries. Along with their art being featured, the two monthly winners will also receive a free Mo’Quito burrito from local favorite, MO Burrito.
An online gallery of bookmarks will be available on our website.
