Three young BMX bikers free-styled their way to winning the Soup pot during Salida Soup 31 with a compelling presentation about building confidence and staying out of trouble.
Slaid Waggoner and his crew from Manifest Action Sports talked about how riding and working on BMX bikes kept them focused on a positive future. They hope to bring their enthusiasm for the sport of BMX riding - as well as scooter and skateboarding culture - to Salida, in the form of a space where young people can learn proper riding techniques, tricks, and how to work on their chosen action sport vehicles. Watch for something to come this Spring!
Valley To Valley Senior Care Center, and Friendship Bridge Salida also presented.
