Salida Soup Awards "Bridging the Political Guide" with Soup Pot!
Salida Soup Diners awarded "Bridging the Political Divide", a AIKI Communication Project, with the Soup Pot at the July 20th Salida Soup. This pilot project consists of a one-day workshop scheduled for Sat., July 22, 2017, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Enrollment for the one-day workshop is limited to 30 participants. Ideally, the participants will represent a broad spectrum of political beliefs. The specific issues to be addressed will be determined by the participants. In addition, the program is seeking seven individuals who are interested in receiving training to act as small-group mediators for the program. The mediation training is designed to give you the skills and knowledge necessary to be effective in guiding others in collaborative dialogue. The training sessions will be once a week for one hour/session. The day and time will be determined by the participants’ availability. There is no cost for participation other than time and commitment. If you are interested, please contact me as soon as possible.
